A. Football
As part of my extra-curricular activities, I engage in football activities in my leisure time as a footballer and head coach of the Medical Research Council the Gambia at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

B. Community Engagements

Beyond Science, I also engage in community development activities and projects. I am the founder and secretary of two community-orientated development associations in the Gambia.

I am among the founder of the Yonna Development Association which brought numerous projects (e.g. community water project, sanitation and light projects) to various communities to uplift their standard of living and improve their quality of life.
